Positive Parenting Program

First 5 Tehama leads, promotes and supports collaboration within and across health, education and social support systems to better the health of children and families.

Parenting can be challenging. Sometimes, we all could use a little help to stay positive.

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is an evidence-based program that gives parents tips on how to manage the challenges of family life such as tantrums, bedtime battles, disobedience, and aggression.

First 5 Tehama recognizes that parenting is hard; everyone can use support. First 5 Tehama funds multiple Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) courses in English and Spanish each year. Triple P gives families positive strategies that are proven to work. The program can be adapted to suit any situation.
