Tehama County Children and Families Commission (TCCFC) established in 1998, recognized the compelling need to create and implement a comprehensive, collaborative, and integrated system of information and services to support, and optimize early childhood development beginning at the prenatal stage to five (5) years of age. Proper parenting, nurturing and health care during these early years will provide the means for California’s children to enter school in good health, emotionally well-developed, and ready and able to learn.
The Tehama County Children and Families Commission, consisting of nine (9) members, use Prop. 10 funding to fill resource gaps and create new crosscutting projects that bring together resources from different programs and parts of the community to serve young children in a new and more effective way. The commission meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month except July, September, and December, at 3 p.m. at the Tehama County Admin Building located at
727 Oak St, Tuscan Rm. – Red Bluff, CA 96080 Your attendance is welcome!
